By flight:
Upon exiting the Lisbon airport, you have several options:
- Taxi: Grab a taxi from the designated taxi ranks outside the airport terminal. The journey to Carcavelos typically takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
- Ride-Hailing Apps: Use apps like Uber or Bolt to request a ride to Carcavelos.
- Shuttle Service: We offer shuttle services from the airport to the Surf Camp. When booking your stay you can add the shuttle service.
By Public Transport:
- From Lisbon Airport, take the metro (Red Line) towards São Sebastião.
- Transfer at Alameda station to the Green Line heading towards Cais do Sodré.
- Get off at Cais do Sodré station.
- From Cais do Sodré, take the train towards Cascais.
- Get off at Carcavelos station.
- From Carcavelos station, it’s a short walk or taxi ride to the surf house.
By car:
- From Lisbon Airport, follow signs for the A5 motorway (Autoestrada do Estoril) towards Cascais.
- Continue on the A5 for approximately 25 kilometers.
- Take exit 9 towards Carcavelos.
- Merge onto Avenida Tenente Coronel José Domingos de Azevedo.
- Follow signs to your specific surf house in Carcavelos.
